Content development entails more than just good information design practices. It requires a palette of skill-set spanning from user interface design, information architecture, to content management. With the users in mind, the end product should be developed around simplicity and usability. It further involves a seamless collaboration among team members and proactively improving the product.
I have worked at multi-national IT and media firms, accumulating a range of experience in building and managing information development projects for the web.
I obtained an M.S. in Information Security Policy & Management from the School of Information Systems & Management at Carnegie Mellon University (Pittsburgh, PA). Previously, I graduated with a B.S. in Technical Communications from the Human Centered Design & Engineering department at the University of Washington (Seattle, WA) with minors in Mathematics and Japanese .
In between my academic pursuits, I was a content specialist at a media firm and an information developer in the technology sector.
